VERSE:
…Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness… (JUDGES 14:14 KJV).
EXPLANATION:
In the name of Lord Jesus Christ, I am very happy to greet you in this new month. May God shower all the goodness in your life as you step into this new month. Today, let us meditate on the verse from Judges 14:14 “…Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness…”
Samson tells a beautiful riddle in this passage. “Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” He asks what it is. What is food from the eater? The answer to the first of these two questions is lion. The answer to the second question is honey. The Lord is able to bring forth honey from a ravenous lion.
So you don’t have to fear deadly enemies like lions. The Lord will feed you with those who rise up to destroy you. It could be the government that is scrambling to eat you. It could be a neighbor or an official in your office. As the Lord fights for you, He will bring you support and help through them.
Look! Pharaoh passed a deadly law requiring all Israelite boys under the age of two to be thrown into the river. According to that law, Pharaoh’s daughter took up the responsibility of bringing up the Hebrew child Moses, who was left in the Nile. The child’s own mother arranged to nurse the child. The mother also got a salary for that. Yes, the Lord is the one who brings the blessing from the one who eats.
Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, was very cruel to the people of Israel. Finally, the people of Israel prepared to leave Egypt. They have no money in their hands. What did the Lord do? He made them find favor in the eyes of the Egyptians who had been dying until then. The Egyptians who had enslaved them with slaves, the same Egyptians showed mercy to them by removing their gold and silver ornaments. The Lord will help those who are against you to show mercy to you even today.
Look! Haman prepared the gallows to hang Mordecai, the man of God. But that night the king could not sleep. When the king asked to read the records of the chronicles; , he learned that no exchange had been made for Mordecai, who had saved his life. The next day, when Haman came to the king’s presence, the Lord made Mordecai honor him with Haman, the king’s villain.
Scripture says “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.” (Isaiah 54:15). Beloved, you will be honored by the man by whom you were dishonored. So don’t worry. God will help you through your enemies.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, In all the struggles and oppositions that come in my life, You are sufficient and extend Your hand and show Your power and miracles. Fight for me in the midst of those who oppose me and those who oppose me and save me. I believe in you. Save me and protect me. So many evil people rise up against me without cause. But you are my shield. I have complete faith that you will never leave me under any circumstances. Protecting me like a teardrop, no weapon formed against me will fail. Protect me from the evils that arise against me. You know those who fight against me. May your protection be with me. Fill me with the joy of your presence. Free me from all kinds of trouble. It helps to keep peace with everyone. You are my front and back guard in my life so that no one can stand against me. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen!
