VERSE:
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. (PSALM 91:15 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in danger, save him, and honor him. (Psalm 91:15) Today we meditate on God’s promise. As stated in this verse, God will protect you from all dangers and honor you.
As I read this verse, I am reminded of an incident recorded in the Bible in Mark chapter 4. Jesus and his disciples are traveling in a boat. Suddenly there was a whirlwind, the waves rose and the boat sank. The frightened disciples rushed to wake up Jesus, who was sleeping even as the wind blew. Waking him up, he said, “Aren’t you worried about us drowning? See the water coming into the boat! See the whirlwind!” They said that. Then Jesus looked at the sea and said, “Be still, be still.” As soon as Jesus said this, the wind stopped.
Yes, dear ones! Jesus said a word is enough ! Are you overwhelmed by what is going on around you and don’t know what to do? Confused about how to get out of trouble? Maybe you’re waiting for a court ruling in your favor, or you’re worried about how to support your family in the midst of financial hardship. Failed in many subjects and confused about how to finish college. Beloved, are you worried about your future, the future of your family, the future of your business?
Seeing the storms that are raging in them, the Lord Jesus says, “Be still, be still.” He will set you free and honor you. The Lord is with you; So be happy.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord! I praise You for speaking to me through Your Word. Thank you for your promise to honor me by keeping me safe from danger. Lord, send your word to calm all the storms in my life as I pray. Give me victory in all situations. Bless me with your divine protection, comfort and liberation. Thank you for answering my prayer, saving me and honoring me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
