EXPLANATION:
Let us meditate today on the familiar verse, “Goodness and grace shall follow me all the days of my life;…” (Psalm 23:6). Yes, goodness and grace will follow you forever. So, be happy!
Do you fear that sometimes even after the Lord has blessed you with good health after a serious illness, good grades after a hard struggle, financial blessings from a heavy debt load, a good job and a good family, you may have to return to your old ways?
What if I fail again? What if I get into debt again? What if the disease comes back? What if I lose my job? What if I lose my life? In many ways you may be living in fear.
But I encourage you to hold on to this promise of God’s grace today and enjoy the goodness and grace of God that will follow you throughout your life.
Never look back on your old struggles and be afraid. What if they come back? Never say that. Do not be afraid because the Almighty God has your future in His hands and He will bless you at the right time. May Almighty God bless you, may His goodness and grace follow you throughout your life.
To experience this goodness and grace you must first seek the Lord, His kingdom and His righteousness. If you seek the Lord daily with all your heart His goodness and grace will follow you daily.
So praise the Lord for all the blessings He has graciously bestowed upon you and for the blessings He will continue to shower upon your life. May today be a blessed day for you!
PRAYER:
Dear Lord! I thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. I pray Lord to remove all negative thoughts from me. Your verse says that You will protect those who hold fast to You with perfect peace. Help me to think of higher things and trust in Your goodness and grace. I praise You for all the blessings You have showered on me in the past and for the blessings that are going to be showered in my life. Help me to be immersed in Your presence and enjoy Your goodness and grace for the rest of my life. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen.
