ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (02.12.2022):
VERSE:
…Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. (LUKE 7:50 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
“…your faith has saved you, go in peace…” (Luke 7:50). That is what the Lord promises today. What a joy to receive such words from the Lord!
I know you are waiting with faith in the Lord for a miracle to happen. The Lord will do a miracle for you today. So, be happy! Your faith will never be wasted. “Let it be so,” says the Lord, and He will do what you hope for.
“By grace are ye saved through faith; and this not of yourselves, it is of God;” (Ephesians 2:8) says the scriptures. It is not of our own doing; God is gracious. So the Lord will graciously forgive us and perform a miracle.
Simon, a Pharisee, invited Jesus to dine at his home. According to cultural custom, invitees to the feast wash and kiss the guests’ feet and pour balm on their heads. But this man, who was called a Pharisee, did not follow these cultural practices. .
But a woman called a sinner slowly entered the house and stood behind Jesus. She repented of her sins. She wept profusely and washed Jesus’ feet with her tears. Then she wiped Jesus’ feet with her hair and kissed his feet many times. Then she applied expensive perfume to his feet.
That is why Jesus said, ‘She loved me more,’ and said, ‘Your sins are forgiven.’ The woman honestly confessed her sins. She worshiped the Lord with great humility; So he forgave her sins. This act of love saved her.
The woman had more faith in the Lord Jesus. That is why the Lord said, “Thy faith hath saved thee.” Humble yourselves before the Lord and weep. Cling with faith to the loving Lord Jesus who gave his life to save us. He will wash away your sins with His blood. Expect great things from the Lord.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord! I praise You for Your wonderful promise. Lord, you came into this world and were crushed for my iniquities. I am saved by your precious blood. Even now, my sins wash away everything. Lord, free me from all curses and forgive me. There is nothing you cannot do. I trust that You will fill me with Your presence and adorn everything in my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
