VERSE:
And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; (ISAIAH 32:18 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
Fear not, for this is a moment of God’s promise. He is with you. His promise is from Isaiah 32:18, “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”
Today, you might be thinking, “Oh, I have kept my home as collateral and people are trying to grab it away from me. I have no shelter. They are trying to take my home away from me. I don’t have any peace in this house. There are troubles within my family.”
Or you might say, “There has been theft in this house and I am afraid if I have to face more danger. I am afraid to go out of my house because of the diseases that are prevailing in the streets. I am afraid if these diseases may come to my family.”
You might be so afraid and full of terror. You might be full of fear because of the evil spirits that are torturing you. But look at God’s promise for today, my dear beloved. He says, “My people” which is you “will live in safety.” You will live in safety quietly at home. You won’t panic. You won’t fear. You won’t be worried about all these things.
Though they might mentally try to disturb you, try to make you fear about irrational things, you will live in safety. Your heart will be quiet. God says, “they will be at rest.” So He will keep His peace within you.
One of the families we met in their house said that they feel Jesus literally walking amongst them because they pray every morning to Him as a family. They feel so peaceful even though bad news come. Even though accidents happen, small mishaps happen, they say they are not afraid. They say, “God provides solution for everything. He takes care of us.”
Similarly you too will live in safety and be at rest. As Bible says, “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.”(Psalm 112:7), you will fear no evil because the Lord is with you.
PRAYER:
Loving Lord Jesus ! You have promised me safety so be my security. Do not let my possessions or my peace be taken away. Let not my health be taken away. Let fear have no rule over my life. May my heart find rest in You always. May I fear no bad news. Protect me and save me from all harm. Protect my boundaries. Help me dwell in my home in safety. Let everyone enjoy Your Presence in my house. May I hear good news of victory. Enlarge my borders. In Your precious name, I pray. Amen.
