ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (14.10.2022):
VERSE:
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. (COLOSSIANS 3:24 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
Every little thing should be done wholeheartedly for the Lord. This word is my favorite. For when I am very tired of my work, or when I do not want to do it, I remember that I am doing it for the Lord, not for men.
When you always keep this scripture in your mind and think that whatever you do is for the Lord, you will definitely do it wholeheartedly.
In today’s times, some people continue their work from home. No one noticed us. Therefore, let us do it with all our heart, keeping in mind that the Lord is watching us, so that we do not be false to do something.
“He who is faithful in a little is faithful in much, and he who is unrighteous in a little is unrighteous in much.” (Luke 16:10). Therefore, if you do even small things responsibly, the Lord will trust you and give you great responsibilities. Because he will trust you that you will do everything well. He will be happy to see you.
And he will praise you, “Good and faithful servant.” You will be appreciated for your work. Therefore, do everything for the Lord with enthusiasm.
Mother Teresa cared for everyone in her home with motherly love. When asked what motivates you to express such a deep love for others, I consider each of the people I serve to be the Lord Jesus. They said that there is no problem in meeting their needs.
Likewise, we should serve everyone thinking that we are serving the Lord. And to the best of our ability, we must complete the task given to us. By doing what is best, we must be worthy of the calling to which God has called us, so that His name may be glorified.
PRAYER:
Jesus of love! Thank you for teaching me this great truth today. Lord fill me with your grace to walk according to your word. It helps me to work wholeheartedly in everything. Give me the grace to do the best I can for you. Help me to do everything according to your will. Give me the grace to use my full potential for you. Fill and guide me with your wisdom. Give me the wisdom to do everything carefully without any distraction. Bless and guide me. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen.
