ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (19.01.2023):
VERSE:
…for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. (ISAIAH 62:4 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. God has a beautiful word for you today. It comes from Isaiah 62:4, “…the Lord is pleased with you; Your nation will live.”
The Lord Jesus Christ has left a pattern of life before us. Learn to please God by following in His footsteps.
Scripture says in 1 Peter 2:21, “To this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in his steps.” Yes, Jesus Christ has left a kind of life before us. And in Psalm 40:8 we read, “O my God, I will do that which pleases thee;…”
We read in many places in the Scriptures, “…this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased…” (Matthew 3:17). This sound was made to him from the supreme glory.”
Not only that, but in John 8:29 we read, “He that sent me is with me, and hath not left me alone, because I always do the things that please the Father…”
Yes, beloved, we must please God in all that we do. Colossians 1:10-12 says, We pray for you that you may grow in the knowledge of God, bearing fruit in every good work, and walking worthy of the Lord, having all patience and long-suffering with joy, according to his glorious power, and strengthened with all might.
We praise the Father who has made us worthy to share in the inheritance of the saints in light and who has freed us from the power of darkness. If you do all these things you will please God. Through this God is always with us.
PRAYER:
Father of love! May you come into my life with majesty. Help me to always do what is pleasing to You and live happily in Your sight. Grant me the grace to bear fruit unto Thee, to flourish in Thy knowledge, to be strengthened by Thy power, to give thanks unto Thee with joy, and to walk in a manner worthy of Thy calling. I surrender myself completely to you. Use me for Your glory. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen.
