ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (19.08.2022):
VERSE:
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. (PSALM 91:14 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
“I will deliver him because he is dear to me; because he knows my name I will place him in a high place.” (Psalm 91:14) is today’s promise.
An English translation reads, “I will deliver him because he is faithful to me; because he knows my name I will protect him.” What a wonderful promise! “I will protect him because he knows my name,” says the Lord.
Yes, the scriptures say, “The name of the Lord is a strong refuge; the righteous shall run into it and be saved.” Every knee in heaven, on earth, and under the earth shall bow at the name of Jesus. What a powerful name that is! When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, all evil will bow before you. All your needs will be met from heaven when you pray in the mighty name of Jesus. All resistance and shackles in your life will be broken in the name of Jesus.
How to know Lord’s name? First you must accept Him as your Savior. Yes, the name Jesus means savior, one who saves people from their sins. If you confess your sins, forsake them, turn from your worldly ways, and ask the Lord to wash you in His blood, He will surely cleanse you. Thus when you are washed by the blood of Jesus, you become a child of God. As you ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and strengthen you to live holy, He will strengthen you. This is knowing the name of Jesus.
The Lord will keep you as his child and holy so that the name of Jesus is seen above you. He will elevate you to high places. As God honors the name of Jesus above all other names, He will honor your name as well. Everything you do will pay off. Because the Lord’s name is associated with your name, He will do everything for you. May the Lord grant you this grace today.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord! Thank you for your wonderful promise. I accept now that You are my Lord and Savior. Jesus, you died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me. Wash me with your precious blood to wash away my sins and keep me as your child. Holy Spirit, fill me and lead me to live holy before God. Your word says that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. Lord, may all the evils that are working against the peace of my family be paralyzed now. Let all fetters be broken now in Jesus name. Lord, thank you for setting me free and making me yours. Thank you for encouraging me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
