VERSE:
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. (PSALM 121:2 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:2) Let’s meditate on the wonderful promise today. This verse is boldly spoken with such firm faith in God’s mercy!
The scriptures are sure that it will come today because help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. For God’s divine approval to come, our obedience is necessary.
No matter what age we are, we must obey God, our parents, and those who are older than us; To fulfill the will of God, we should lead a righteous life. The Lord, who sees your humility and obedient heart, will be pleased with you and send harmony in due time.
Let us look at Jacob’s life. Jacob obeyed his parents and traveled to his uncle’s house. He carried nothing in his hand; He did not know anything about his uncle and where he lived. However, he obeyed his parents. Seeing Jacob’s obedient heart, God was pleased with him and assured him in a dream that he would be with him on his journey. God met Jacob’s needs beyond what he expected. When Jacob returned to his place, the Lord had blessed him doubly (Genesis 28:16-22).
The same God lives today. He is with you as he was with Jacob. Have a heart to obey the commandments of the Lord, your parents and your elders. Ephesians 6:1-3 speaks clearly about the blessing of an obedient heart.
Beloved, God wants to miraculously meet all your needs. Sympathy will come to you from the Lord! You too can receive all of God’s perfect blessings when you abide in the will of Almighty God and walk in obedience to God and the elders. May God bless you with that grace today.
PRAYER:
Lord of love! I praise You for Your wonderful promise. Give me an obedient heart like Jacob. Help me to abide in Your will and honor the word of the elders. You alone can meet my needs, bear my burdens and bless me completely. I get sympathy only from you. I fully believe that You will release me and bless me doubly. I pray in Jesus name Good Father, Amen!
