The Bible tells us in Psalm 55:22, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you.” That’s not a suggestion—it’s a divine promise. When you run to Him instead of the world, He gives you peace that surpasses all understanding.

In 1 Peter 5:7, it says, “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” Notice it doesn’t say, “some of your anxiety” or “just what you think He can handle.” It says all—because God can carry what no one else can.

Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Not “come to your friends” or “post it online.” He said, Come to Me. That’s where true rest begins.

Be Discerning, Be Prayerful

This is not to say you should never speak to anyone about your problems. Wise counsel is biblical. Trusted support is valuable. But let God be your first call, not your last resort. Be careful whom you confide in. Seek those led by the Spirit, not just those who will sympathize.

Because when you go to God first, He’ll give you clarity. He’ll guide your next step. He’ll lead you to the right people—if needed—but your anchor will remain secure in Him.

Let Your Faith Speak Louder Than Your Fear – Don’t Tell People Your Problems

Life will always bring trials. But your response to them determines your strength. Don’t broadcast your pain hoping the world will fix it. Instead, kneel in prayer and hand your burdens to the One who already knows the end from the beginning.

God doesn’t just care. He’s capable.
