ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (02.01.2023):
VERSE:
For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. (ACTS 18:10 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
May the Lord be with you, as the scripture says, “I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to harm you; I have many people in this city…” (Acts 18:10). What courage this verse of promise gives us!
The context of this verse suggests that the apostle Paul may have been a bit intimidated by the threats he was facing. One day the Lord told him in a dream, “Fear not,” and continued to speak to him and encourage him.
“I am with you. No one will attack you to harm you,” he said. “I have a lot of people in this town,” he said. God encourages Paul to share the word of the Lord with many people and draw them to Him. This is why he said, “I am with you to save and protect you.”
You may be going through a stressful situation right now. Don’t forget that God is always with you to protect you. No one can lay hands on you. So don’t be afraid and be brave.
When this word from God came to Paul, he took courage and said, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14) He said.
So, dear ones! Keep going without fearing the people of this world. If God is on your side, who can stand against you? I encourage you to give your whole life to run for the Lord.
Let’s make a resolution today, “I will run for the Lord to the end no matter what happens in my life.” Resolve to run like this to save many for the Kingdom of God. “My child, I am with you to protect you, to honor you, to honor your service to Me,” God tells you today.
Beloved, what more do we want? What can man do for you when God is on your side? So fear not; Don’t be swayed. May God be with you.
The Lord who called you wants you to be bold in himself. So, don’t be afraid. May the Lord protect you and make you shine for His glory.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord! I praise You for Your wonderful promise. You are the God who calls and protects your children for your purposes. I entrust the stressful situation I’m going through into your loving arms. Remove unnecessary fear and anxiety from my mind and fill me with Your perfect love and peace. Protecting me like a teardrop, no weapon formed against me will fail. Lord, fill me with your power to experience the presence of your love each day. I praise You for removing all fears and blessing me with Your whole heart. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
