—–The Story Behind Tujhya Mandirat—-
The Lord gave me this song in the early days of lockdown which was a result of the covid-19 pandemic that hit the world. Completely locked in our homes isolated from the community, friends, and even church it was the most difficult situation anyone of us has ever faced. Right in those moments Psalm 84 brought great solace. The Psalmist in verse six describes the Valley of Baca, a valley of sorrow, a valley of suffering, but he says “those who know God as they go through the valley make it a place of springs.” The psalmist is resolved to remind us that “A day spent in God’s courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. those who praise God, who find their strength and trust in Him: those are the truly blessed.” Dear Friends “The good life is not about having everything you wanted; it’s about having God even in the midst of the pandemic which none of us wanted. Let us then be constantly assured of his love and protection for all of us.”

परमेश्वराने मला हे गाणे लॉकडाउनच्या काळात जो कोविड -19 साथीचा परिणाम होता तेव्हा दिले. घरामध्ये पूर्णपणे बंदिस्त, समुदाय, मित्र आणि अगदी चर्चपासून विभक्त. आजपर्यंत आपल्यापैकी कोणीही कधीही न अनुभवलेली सर्वात कठीण परिस्थिती. त्या क्षणी स्तोत्र 84 ने मला मोठा दिलासा दिला. सहाव्या वचनात स्तोत्रकारने शोकाच्या खोऱ्याचे, दु:खाच्या दरीचे वर्णन केले आहे, परंतु जे लोक देवाला ओळखतात त्यांना खोऱ्यातून जाताना पिण्याच्या पाण्याचे झरे सापडतात. स्तोत्रकाराने आपल्याला ही आठवण करून देण्याचा संकल्प केला की “देवाच्या अंगणातील एक दिवस हा सहस्र दिवसांपेक्षा उत्तम आहे.” जे लोक देवाची स्तुती करतात त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवतात व त्याला आपल्या शक्तिचा स्त्रोत मानितात. ते धन्य आहेत. “चांगले आयुष्य म्हणजे आपल्या इच्छेनुसार सर्वकाही असणे असे नाही; तर आपल्याबरोबर देव असणे हे आहे. अगदी आपल्यापैकी कोणालाही नको असलेल्या महामारीच्या परिस्थिती सुद्धा. तर चला मग आपल्या सर्वांसाठी त्याच्या प्रेमाची आणि संरक्षणाची खात्री आपण सतत बाळगूया.
