god medias You Are My Shield lyrics – I walk through shadows
Verse 1
I walk through shadows, fears on every side,
But I know Your presence, in You I confide.
Enemies gather, speaking doubt and lies,
Yet You lift my head, You hear my cries.
Chorus
Oh, You are my shield, my glory, my song,
In the darkest night, You keep me strong.
I lay down in peace, awake with hope anew,
For I know, O Lord, my strength is found in You.
Verse 2
The world may say there’s no hope for me,
But in Your arms, I am truly free.
You fight my battles, break the chains of fear,
I stand in victory, for You are near.
Chorus
Oh, You are my shield, my glory, my song,
In the darkest night, You keep me strong.
I lay down in peace, awake with hope anew,
For I know, O Lord, my strength is found in You.
Bridge
Rise up, O Lord, with power and grace,
Shatter the strongholds, every trace.
Your salvation is ours, forever to sing,
In Your name alone, we find everything.
Chorus
Oh, You are my shield, my glory, my song,
In the darkest night, You keep me strong.
I lay down in peace, awake with hope anew,
For I know, O Lord, my strength is found in You.
Outro
Salvation belongs to You, my King,
Your blessing is on us, forever we sing.
