god medias Clean up inside your heart – Sunday school song Lyrics
1.Within your heart, what can be found?
Do light and warmth and joy abound?
Or is there darkest night and need?
Then listen well and take good heed:
Clean up inside your heart,
And put evil far away.
It’s painful at the start,
But it will not stay that way.
Be quick and make things right.
Your life will then be bright.
Clean up inside your heart; do it today!
2.If you have said an evil word
So others have been badly hurt,
Then ask forgiveness and be bold
Before your heart gets hard and cold.
3.Did you deceive your mother dear?
You did not make the truth quite clear?
This on your conscience heavy weighs;
Remember, lying never pays.
4.How blessed is a heart that’s pure!
And heaven-bound it is for sure.
In Jesus’ peace you then can rest.
Tell others of this truth so blest:
