Nothingness

We all have experienced a time in life where we have murmured of having nothing. Nothing to live, nothing to give, nothing to gain when everything is a pain, nothing to do to get the life move on, nothing to love and nothing to lose.

I have no job, no money, no house, no family, no talent and no happiness; the word “NOTHING” has become our chant for many years says the inner voice. Having said that, do we ever realize that emptiness nullifies JESUS CHRIST’s presence in our lives.

We deny Jesus Christ when we ponder and magnify on nothingness. Have we not heard the Proverb “Without Christ I am zero but with Christ I am hero” There is a lot of difference between “half full” and “half empty”. Yes, My beloved friends, in Christian life it is absolutely pointless to say that I do not have anything because Christ Jesus is our everything. He is with us. His presence and His promises never forsake us. How much more thankful should we be for all the blessings of life! Should not our heart always thank and praise the father for the very gift of whole heaven in Jesus Christ to humanity! The bible says “whoever hath son hath eternal life”, “Whosoever hath son has everything”.

When I ponder on Jesus Life, The master savior Himself neither brought anything to earth on his birth, nor hath taken anything from earth on His ascension to heaven, Yet lived a peaceful life without a shade of disbelief. In His life, He never uttered “I have nothing” because Heaven was His goal, He delighted in doing His father’s will, Prayer was His breath and scripture was His bread and angels were His companions. How blessed is it to live a life like Jesus, the epitome of Peace and contented heart!

Beloved friends, the spirit of Prophecy says “nothing in my hand I bring, simply to thy cross I cling”. I have discerned it and started to thank Him for all the blessings of life through Christ Jesus.

Let nothingness be not our chant and excuse. Let the pure grace of Jesus Christ swallow the hollowness. Amen.
