Udainthu Pona Paathiram song Meaning

The song Udaikureenga is based on the strength of the verse which Jeremiah 18:5-6 express the story of God as a craftsman with clay in his hands, the same story which talks of the life we lead. This graphic image tells us that God, just as a skilled potter, has the power and capacity to move our lives at His wish. He shapes and creates us, and the goal of this picture is to make us yearn within ourselves to be made by him, and to be formed as noble vessels which will manifest his goodness and his glory.

I tend to imagine my life in this manner. I do desire to be relatively unshaped and unformed in the hands of God-absolutely giving of Him and yielding myself to Him to be used of Him. I am placing my trust in Him and I believe that as we completely submit to Him to shape us in whatever way He sees fit, He will create not only something beautiful, something that would glorify Him, and something that would finally be to our good.
