Version 2 Teach me to soar above the storms,
O Jesus, grant me wings like eagles.
I aspire to glide in the vast sky,
For eagles are known to soar high in the sky.
Conquering defeats, I witness victory unfold,
Jesus, my strength, courage my constant hold.
I emerge victorious, aiming for the goal,
Jesus, I have to mark the victory.
Cloaked in the new mantle of humanity,
My heart is anchored in God’s Word with certainty.
Jesus, my faith in you remains strong,
In your name, I’ve found where I belong.
No fear, no weariness shall I bear,
Eyes fixed on you, my constant prayer.
To rejuvenate like the dawn,
Jesus, I long to be young again.
For the eagles are known to soar high in the sky.
